Female musicians in Ghana are not united as the male musicians – Mama B

The entertainment sector in Ghana is surrounded by so many controversies and it is always found struggling to sustain unlike the Nigerian music sector which is always seen growing with the industry players making things easy for the young ones to make their way through.

Young rising sensational female musician mama B, a talent who has been in the industry with countless hit songs alleges there are no unity among the female musicians in Ghana unlike the male musicians. He explains most top female musicians allow pride to mislead them and feels so specially to go below their class to collaborate with an upcoming musicians.

He claims, musicians like sarkodie, medical, Pappy Kojo, Stonebwoy, Shatta wale are always seen introducing and doing collaborations with upcoming musicians but you hardly find a successful female musicians giving her fellow female upcoming musician a chance on a song to be known. We can’t even boast of Becca, Efya, Wendy Shay and wiyala sharing their space with upcoming musicians but instead always go to the male top stars to share their fan base with them.

Mama B has been recording so many songs and even though she is not as huge as compared to wendy shay and co but I have featured on 10 underground musicians on my songs which I believe that my little help of also helping them make some number from my small domain he says.
