40 persons receive donkeys as part of a youth development initiative

Forty (40) have received donkeys as part of an initiative tailored towards youth development sparking a social media storm as to the commitment of politicians in ending youth unemployment in Africa.
This according to media reports, Senior special assistant on youth development to Governor of Kano state in Nigeria, Murtala Gwarma made the donation to the youth
He claimed the beneficiaries requested the donkeys to aid them in transporting sand, gravel, and blocks so as to boost their business.

He claimed the beneficiaries requested the donkeys to aid them in transporting sand, gravel, and blocks so as to boost their business.
Other items distributed include motorcycles, bicycles, building blocks, roofing sheets, among others.
It is gathered that the distribution took place at the premises of the state’s ministry for youths and sports development with over 40 beneficiaries.
Gwarmai said he would sustain the programme.
The event was attended by the commissioner for youths and sport, Kabiru Ado Lakwaya, senior special assistant on youths II, Ibrahim Ahmad are among the government officials that attended the event.
