I’m going back to Church where I belong – Leader of GUM speaks

Founder and leader of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM) Christian Kwabena Andrews known popularly as  Osofo Kyiri Abosom has conceded defeat in the just-ended polls even before the Electoral Commission(EC) makes its official announcement.

The Man of God wanted to take Ghana back to its roots with ideologies of Ghana’s first President Kwame Nkrumah says he will not comment about the just-ended general election.

He said he is ready to go back to the Church where he belongs to win souls for Christ and work for the Kingdom of God.

For a first time contender, the Ghana Union Movement garnered a huge number of votes across the country comparatively as against some of the political parties that have been in the system for long.

This year’s election is unique because the former President of Ghana contested against the sitting President.
