Nigeria’s National Team Travels To Benin By Sea Because Of Bad roads
It was all drama when Super Eagles, The male national team of Nigeria refused traveling by road to Benin because of how terrible the road between the neighboring countries was.
The unavailability of flights between Nigeria and Benin has resulted the Super Eagles to travel to Benin by sea for their Saturday AFCON Qualifiers match.
The National team players refused to travel by road due to the poor road network between the two countries and decided to go in for the 1 hour 30 minutes journey by sea.
This has caused mixed reaction on social media as people kept asking if the Nigerian Armed Forces had no planes available to transport the players.
