Mohammed Kudus is attracting serious interest with his performances at the World Cup after Ghana won 3-2, with Kudus scoring twice.
The Ajax ace played well against Portugal and also stole the show in Ghana’s second game against South Korea by playing a pivotal role in Ghana securing victory.
He became the first ever Ghanaian player to score two goals in one game at a World Cup. The midfielder’s first was a delicate header, while the second was a measured finish.
Kudus won the Player of the Match award in the game against the South Koreans, helping the Black Stars inch closer to qualifying for the knockout stages.
He has been linked with several European top teams, including Newcastle, Liverpool, Everton among others before settling for Ajax.
Given his performances at the World Cup, English club’s interest in Kudus is surely peaking, with performances for Ghana and Ajax exceptional.
He has now excelled at a World Cup and in the Champions League. In all competitions for club and country this season, Kudus now has 12 goals and two assists.
