International Friendly: Japan beat Ghana Black Stars 4 – 1

The Black Stars suffered it’s first defeat under leadership of new coach Otto Addo who took over from Milovan Rajevac.

The Black Stars have so far played two draws against Nigeria in the World Cup Qualifiers to book it’s place in the up coming World Cup tournament.

Ghana secured it’s first victory under the new management by defeating Madagascar by 3 goals to nil.

The following game against Central African Republic however ended in a draw for the Ghanaian senior National side.

Black Stars lost it’s exciting form ahead of the Japan international friendly after most of the top players miss the match over injury, health issues and personal reasons.

Ghana hoped the game against Japan will help them prepare well ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup where they will face South Korea who play like Japan.
