‘Justice must be served’ – John Dumelo speaks on calls for Salifu Amoako to be jailed

Ghanaian actor and politician John Dumelo has called for justice following the tragic accident involving Elrad Amoako, the son of Archbishop Salifu Amoako, which resulted in two deaths. While addressing the incident, Dumelo emphasized the need for a thorough police investigation and for justice to be served in accordance with the law. He refrained from making any direct accusations but stressed the importance of ensuring accountability in such cases.

Dumelo, who is the NDC parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, assured that he would follow the case closely to ensure that the bereaved families receive justice. Speaking during the burial service of one of the deceased, Justine, he stated, “I want to see justice served. Let the law take its course and see where the case goes.”

The accident, which took place on October 12, 2024, involved Elrad Amoako speeding toward a junction and colliding with another vehicle, leading to a fire. CCTV footage of the crash revealed the severity of the incident, which claimed the lives of two girls and critically injured three others.
