Team ORAL Receives Full Dossier on National Service Ghost Names Scandal
Team Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL), led by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has officially received the complete dossier on the National Service ghost names scandal, which is estimated to have cost Ghana over GHS500 million.
This was announced by Ablakwa on Friday, December 20, expressing gratitude to The Fourth Estate and the Media Foundation for West Africa for their patriotic efforts in compiling and presenting the findings.
“We are extremely grateful to The Fourth Estate and the Media Foundation for West Africa for the presentation and their exceptional patriotism. Together, we shall reset Ghana and recover all loot,” Ablakwa stated on his X page.
Anti-Corruption Measures
Team ORAL has introduced interactive platforms to combat corruption, including a toll-free number (0800 900 111), a website (www.oralgh.org), and an email address (public@oralgh.org). These tools aim to facilitate public reporting of suspected corrupt practices securely and anonymously.
The team’s role is to serve as a focal point for collecting evidence of corruption and forwarding it to state institutions such as the Attorney-General’s Department, EOCO, CID, and NIB for investigation and prosecution.
