President Akufo-Addo Highlights Achievements at PCG’s Bicentennial Anniversary Launch

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has emphasized the transformative initiatives and economic progress achieved under his administration, expressing optimism about the lasting impact of his legacy.

Speaking at the launch of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s (PCG) Bicentennial Anniversary on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the Osu Castle, the President highlighted significant advancements in education, health, infrastructure, energy, and agriculture that have improved the lives of Ghanaians.

“I am proud of the achievements my government has chalked under God’s guidance and the support of our people,” the President said. “I am confident that posterity will judge the Akufo-Addo government’s performance favorably, recognizing this era as one that laid a strong foundation for progress and prosperity.”

President Akufo-Addo also commended the Presbyterian Church of Ghana for its two centuries of contribution to the nation’s development through education, healthcare, and moral guidance. He acknowledged the church’s unwavering support for his administration, particularly during challenging times.

“The Presbyterian Church has been a steadfast partner, praying for me, encouraging me, and supporting my government’s vision of national transformation,” he stated. “Your prayers have sustained me, and your faith has inspired me to persevere.”

The PCG’s Bicentennial Anniversary celebrates 200 years of gospel ministry and societal impact, underscoring the church’s enduring role in shaping Ghana’s moral and social fabric.

The President concluded by reaffirming his belief that his government’s efforts will continue to benefit future generations and solidify Ghana’s foundation for long-term prosperity.
