EC releases final Presidential results for 275 constituencies

The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced updated results for the 2024 presidential election, with one constituency still outstanding.

According to the latest figures, John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) secured victory with 6,591,790 votes (56.42%), defeating his closest rival, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who received 4,877,611 votes (41.75%).

Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar, of the New Force Party, emerged as the leading candidate among smaller parties, securing 88,944 votes (0.76%).

This update incorporates results from eight of the nine constituencies that were initially outstanding, with the EC yet to announce the results for the final constituency.
