
Kenyasi No.1, Ahafo Region – March 28, 2025 – The Minister for Ahafo Region, Charity Gardiner, has voiced deep concern over the rising rate of drug abuse among the youth, calling for urgent intervention from stakeholders to combat the growing crisis.
Speaking during a visit to the Muslim community at Kenyasi No.1, where she donated mats, buta, soft drinks, water, and an undisclosed sum of money, the minister highlighted the alarming abuse of substances such as tramadol and marijuana. She warned that if swift action was not taken, the region’s reputation and future generations could be at risk.
