Armah-Kofi Buah, three other ministers-designate to be vetted today

The Appointments Committee of Parliament will convene on Monday, January 27, 2025, to vet the Minister-Designate for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, along with three regional ministers-designate.

The session, set to begin at 9:00 AM in Committee Room 1&2 of the Administration Building, forms a critical step in assessing the capabilities and visions of President John Dramani Mahama’s nominees for key leadership roles.

Nominees to Be Vetted:

  1. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah – Minister-Designate for Lands and Natural Resources
  2. Tia Ibrahim – Minister-Designate for the North East Region
  3. Dr. Frank Amoakohene – Minister-Designate for the Ashanti Region
  4. Akamugri Atanga Donatus – Minister-Designate for the Upper East Region

The vetting provides an opportunity for the Committee to evaluate the nominees’ qualifications, professional experience, and strategic plans for their portfolios.
