HotDigital Online Hosts Successful Maiden Community Health Awareness Day

On Saturday, 22nd February 2025, HotDigital Online successfully hosted its first-ever Community Health Awareness Day in collaboration with the Ghana Nurses Association UK. This milestone event brought together key Ghanaian UK organisations, including Ghana Union UK, The AM Group, Miss Ghana UK, and Akwaaba UK, demonstrating the collective effort to promote health awareness within Black and ethnic minority communities in the UK.

A Commitment to Community Health

The Founder of HotDigital Online, Mr. Vandyck, highlighted the significance of this initiative, stating:

“As part of our commitment to social responsibility, we have launched Hot Digital Community CIC, a community-focused initiative to raise awareness and provide support on health and social issues affecting Black and ethnic minority communities in the UK. This event, which will be held quarterly, aims to support the community by raising awareness of important health issues.”

The Chairlady of the Ghana Nurses Association UK, Mrs Josephina Ababio, also expressed the association’s enthusiasm for supporting initiatives like this, emphasising their commitment to collaborating with HotDigital Online in future health-focused programs that will positively impact the community.

Health Screenings and Interactive Panel Discussions

The event attendees benefited from free health screenings conducted by healthcare professionals, which provided them with valuable individual health advice.

A fascinating interactive panel discussion was one of the highlights of the event, featuring Mr Vandyck, Mrs Josephina Ababio, Ms Mavis Osei-Agyapong, and Reginald Amponsah. The panel, moderated by Ms. Georgina Bonsu from HotDigital Community CIC, created an engaging and vibrant atmosphere, sparking insightful discussions on key health and social topics, including:

  • The Importance of Community Collaboration
