GFA President Kurt Okraku Elected to CAF Executive Committee

Accra, Ghana – March 12, 2025Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has been elected unopposed to the Executive Committee (EXCO) of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

His four-year term, spanning from 2025 to 2029, secures Ghana’s representation on the 24-member committee that governs African football.

Historic Achievement

Okraku becomes the sixth Ghanaian to serve on the CAF EXCO, following:

✔️ Kobina Hagan
✔️ Nana Fredua Mensah
✔️ Samuel Okyere
✔️ Kwesi Nyantakyi

His election is a recognition of his outstanding leadership at the GFA, where he has spearheaded initiatives to:
