Measles has made a comeback with more than 100 cases confirmed in London since the start of 2026.
The largest cluster is in North London, especially the boroughs of Enfield and Haringey.
In Enfield alone, about 59 confirmed cases have been recorded.
Many cases are linked to schools and nurseries, with outbreaks reported across at least seven schools and one nursery.
Most infections are in children under 10 who were not fully vaccinated.
Some children have needed hospital treatment, although most recover.
Health experts say the main reasons why cases are rising is because of lower MMR vaccination rates in some parts of London.
Also clusters of unvaccinated children allow the virus to spread quickly.
