Wendy Shay has won the Best Female Artiste in Western Africa award at the 2025 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).
The awards ceremony, the 9th edition of AFRIMA took place in Lagos, Nigeria on January 11, 2026, and celebrated outstanding musical achievements across the African continent.
The Ghanaian songstress beat competition from other top female artists in the region to claim the award, marking a significant achievement in her music career.
In her acceptance speech, she expressed gratitude to her fans, team, and dancers who helped make her song “Too Late” go viral.
