Anthony Joshua has shared his first social media post since the motor accident in Nigeria. He posted a series of photos showing himself with his mother and relatives of the victims, including a family member holding a photo of trainer Sina Ghami.
The caption read “My Brothers Keeper”, a phrase expressing responsibility and devotion to those he cares about. The crash occurred on 29 December 2025 on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Nigeria when the Lexus SUV they were traveling in collided with a stationary truck.
Joshua has since returned to the UK after sustaining minor injuries and was treated in a local hospital, he is said to help organise the funerals of Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, both of whom died in the crash.
Tribute and support has been pouring in from fans and the boxing community, with many offering condolences and comfort in the comments. Reports also note Joshua pledged ongoing support to the families of his late friends, affirming his emotional bond and responsibility toward them.
