Israeli strikes displace 20,000 Palestinian refugees in Lebanon

Israeli military strikes on Lebanon have displaced about 20,000 Palestinian refugees in the country, according to the UN’s agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA).
The organisation said it has opened emergency shelters for over 4,300 displaced people and is ready to open more. It had said yesterday that its shelters are filling up fast as the Israeli military intensifies its attacks on Lebanon.
Israeli military strikes on the Gaza Strip have also internally displaced about 1.9 million people or 90 percent of the population in the besieged enclave.
