mixed reactions greet appointment
The dismissal of Prof. Addai-Mensah and the subsequent nomination of Dr. Baidoo have sparked a wave of mixed reactions. In particular, sections of the Asante youth have voiced displeasure over the change, calling on President Mahama to reinstate the former CEO.
While no official reasons have been publicly provided for the leadership change, the development has reignited debates over political interference and regional representation in appointments to key health institutions.
Dr. Baidoo’s nomination is expected to undergo standard procedural formalities before taking full effect.
