Certified voters register for 2024 elections expected early November – EC Chair

The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that the certified voter register for the 2024 general elections will be ready and made available in the first week of November 2024. EC Chairperson Jean Mensa made this announcement during an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting held on October 15, 2024.

Mrs. Mensa reassured stakeholders of the Commission’s commitment to ensuring that the register is accurate and includes all eligible voters registered during the 2020, 2023, and 2024 registration exercises. The EC has been working diligently to address any discrepancies and ensure the reliability of the final register for the upcoming elections, emphasizing transparency and integrity in the process.
