The Chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has revealed that the committee is finalizing its report and will soon present it to President John Dramani Mahama.

The committee has received over 700 petitions from the public, highlighting alleged cases of looted resources. Ablakwa stated that the committee is focused on ensuring accountability and maintaining discipline among government officials.

In an interview with Citi News, the North Tongu MP emphasized the political will driving the committee’s work, adding that it serves as a deterrent to future officials.

Validation Process Underway

The committee is currently validating its findings to ensure accuracy. While most validation efforts have been conducted in the capital, efforts will expand nationwide in the coming weeks.

Ablakwa expressed confidence in wrapping up the process soon, ensuring all regions where reports were filed are addressed. The findings aim to reinforce accountability and build trust in the government’s anti-corruption initiatives.
