NPP Chairman Stephen Ntim Takes Temporary Break from Nationwide ‘Thank You Tour’
ACCRA, May 1, 2025 – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that its National Chairman, Stephen Ntim, has temporarily stepped aside from the party’s ongoing nationwide ‘Thank You Tour’ to address unspecified pressing matters.
In a statement signed by Richard Ahiagbah, the NPP’s Director of Communications, the party emphasized that Mr. Ntim’s absence is only temporary and that he remains deeply committed to the objectives of the tour.
“The New Patriotic Party wishes to inform all members and the public that the National Chairman has taken a short break from the ongoing nationwide ‘Thank You tour’ to attend to some pressing matters,” the statement said.
The party also expressed appreciation to its grassroots supporters for their enthusiasm and loyalty, especially in the wake of its defeat in the 2024 general elections to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The ‘Thank You Tour’, which has been endorsed by the NPP’s National Council, is aimed at:
- Thanking party members and Ghanaians for their support during the electoral process
- Promoting party unity and reconciliation
- Acknowledging divine guidance through challenging times
Mr. Ntim is expected to rejoin the tour in due course, with the party urging members to stay engaged and supportive of the leadership as it navigates the post-election period and charts a path forward.
