CSA Strengthens Partnership with Academia to Boost Cybersecurity Training

The Cyber Security Authority (CSA), led by Acting Director-General Mr. Divine Selase Agbeti, has deepened its collaboration with academia through an engagement with faculty members at the School of Engineering Sciences, University of Ghana, headed by the Dean, Prof. Elsie Effah Kaufmann, PhD.

The discussions focused on curriculum development and professional training in cybersecurity, with emphasis on aligning academic programmes with the industry’s evolving demands.

The partnership will explore pathways from certificate courses in cybersecurity, risk management, and business continuity to graduate programmes and CSA professional accreditations, creating a strong pipeline to train and equip Ghana’s next generation of cyber defenders.

Mr. Agbeti noted that the collaboration reflects CSA’s broader vision of building a secure and resilient digital ecosystem. “Together with academia, we are shaping skills, securing systems, and strengthening Ghana’s digital future,” he said.
