Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has been enstooled as Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I by the chiefs and people of the Komenda Traditional Area.
The colourful ceremony took place during the 2025 Komendaman Nyeyi Festival on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
Her stool name, Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I, was conferred as a symbol of honour and recognition for her outstanding contributions to education, national development, and her unwavering commitment to the values of leadership and service.
The enstoolment was accompanied by rich cultural displays, traditional drumming, and dancing, as the people of Komenda welcomed the Vice President into their fold as a respected leader and partner in development.
The chiefs commended Professor Opoku-Agyemang for her dedication to improving the lives of Ghanaians and expressed optimism that her enstoolment would further strengthen collaboration between the state and traditional authorities in driving local development.
