Bibiani, Western North Region – April 1, 2025 – A three-year-old girl, Vincentia Kyeremah, has been found dead in an abandoned dam at Attakrom, a suburb of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality.
Disappearance and Search Efforts
🚨 Vincentia, a kindergarten pupil, was reported missing on Saturday, prompting her family and community members to launch an intensive search.
💬 Her uncle, Daniel Donkor, revealed that despite their tireless efforts, she remained missing until Monday afternoon, when her lifeless body was discovered.
👮♂️ The family had earlier reported her disappearance to the Bibiani police, who, together with community leaders, assisted in the search.
Suspected Foul Play
⚠️ Daniel Donkor has expressed suspicions of foul play in the tragic death of the young girl.
🗣️ “We suspect something is not right about this incident and urge the police to conduct a forensic investigation,” he stated.
Police Investigation Underway
📌 The police have since retrieved the body, which has been sent for autopsy to determine the cause of death.
