Another Suspect Arrested in Immigration Officer Murder Case

Another breakthrough has been recorded in the ongoing investigation into the murder of Immigration Officer, Stephen King Amoah, as police have arrested a second suspect, Thomas Zigah, also known as Nii Jaase.

Zigah was arraigned before the Adabraka District Court on Friday, August 22, 2025, marking a new twist in a case that has gripped national attention since Amoah’s disappearance and killing.

The prime suspect, Bright Aweh, believed to have been the last person Amoah contacted before he went missing, had earlier been remanded into police custody. Aweh first appeared before the same court on Friday, August 8, 2025, where the judge ordered a two-week remand.

Amoah, aged 38, was reported missing on July 3, 2025, after leaving home to meet a friend at Ashongman Estate. His charred body was discovered six days later at Abuom Junction, near Kwabenya, triggering a manhunt and an intensive police investigation.

The case continues to unfold as police tighten their probe into the shocking killing.
