Ghanaian singer Gyakie will bring back her annual Gyakie Live concert on 12 December, ending a two-year hiatus for the event.
The award-winning artist confirmed the date during an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on Monday, 19 October. The programme was hosted by Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio.
This year’s concert will be held at Ghud Park, where Gyakie is set to reunite with fans for an evening centred on her music and live performance.
Gyakie Live has become an important part of the singer’s musical journey, providing a regular opportunity for her to connect directly with her audience. Its return marks the revival of one of the events most closely associated with her work.
The concert comes after the release of Gyakie’s debut album, After Midnight, and a series of chart-topping releases that have increased her profile in Ghana and beyond.
Known for her distinctive vocals, soulful melodies and engaging stage presence, Gyakie has developed a strong following through her ability to establish a connection with audiences.
Her return to the live stage will give fans the chance to experience her music in person and see how songs from After Midnight, alongside her other releases, translate to a concert setting.
The two-year gap means the 12 December event will also represent the first return of Gyakie Live since its previous edition. The confirmation of a date has renewed interest among supporters who have been waiting for the concert to resume.
Further information about ticket sales and other arrangements is expected to be released in due course.
