The 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards has been one of the most anticipated editions in recent years, with several top musicians competing across major categories including Artiste of the Year, Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artiste.
Earlier in March 2026, the TGMA Academy Board announced nominees for the various categories, generating widespread debate among music fans and industry stakeholders ahead of the awards night.
This year’s highly competitive Artiste of the Year category features Black Sherif, Medikal, Stonebwoy, Wendy Shay, Sarkodie and Diana Hamilton, making her one of the few gospel musicians to earn a nomination in the topmost category.
The awards night has also featured performances from some of the biggest music stars including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, Gyakie, Kweku Smoke, Moliy, Wendy Shay, Medikal, Piesie Esther and Diana Hamilton herself.
Diana Hamilton’s latest TGMA success adds to her growing list of accolades in a career that has seen her become one of Ghana’s most respected gospel voices. Known for hit songs such as “Adom,” “Mo Ne Yo” and “Awurade Ye,” she continues to enjoy massive support within the gospel fraternity and among music lovers across the country.
