Ghana’s Deputy Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sanni Jajah, has died.
Mr Jajah, who also served as Ghana’s Deputy Head of Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh alongside Ghana’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Said Sinare, died on the evening of Saturday, August 9, 2026, after a short illness.
In his capacity as Deputy Head of Mission, he played a key role in Ghana-Saudi diplomatic relations and was involved in supporting Ghanaian pilgrims and other citizens in the Kingdom.
The news of the death was announced by the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso North, Yussif Jajah, in a Facebook post.
He described the death as a major loss to the family and appealed to the public to keep the family in their thoughts and prayers as they come to terms with the loss.
