Avoid premature jubilation; focus on collation process – NDC to supporters

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged its supporters to remain calm and avoid premature celebrations as the collation of results from the 2024 general elections is ongoing. During a press briefing, NDC Communications Director Sammy Gyamfi emphasized the importance of vigilance, restraint, and active monitoring of the electoral process at constituency collation centers.

He called on supporters to focus on protecting votes by ensuring transparency and addressing irregularities promptly. Gyamfi reminded them to celebrate only after official results are declared by the Electoral Commission. This appeal comes amid growing anticipation as provisional results emerge from polling stations across Ghana.
